Family ties under strain due to ambitious comeback

Sisters Nora and Agnes reunite with their estranged father, the charismatic Gustav, a once-famous director who offers stage actress Nora a role in what is supposed to be his comeback film. When Nora turns down the role, she quickly discovers he's given her place to an ambitious young Hollywood star.
