After a successful streak of EPs, singles, and collaborations, Bby Eco is back with his new album Sky (i). According to the artist himself, the album is made up of animated piano and synthesiser sounds, and is rooted in “extensive improvisation”. The release event will take place in Amsterdam Oost and followed by an afterparty in Garage Noord, a hub for emerging local electronic artists. Bby Eco expects the show to be “contemporary and cathartic, like jumping into the unknown”- a tribute to Amsterdam-based electronic talent.

It’s not the first time Interfering Grounds comes together with Raum, a techno hideaway in the heart of Nieuw-West. This time, a Berlin-based collective Femme Bass Mafia will shake the walls of the industrial sanctuary, offering space for a full female lineup to showcase their sounds.

For this unexpected and multidisciplinary collaboration, an art space in Sloterdijk will be taken over by a digital art exhibition and a zine launch, followed by a club night with metaphysical DJ sets, (literally) border-crossing visuals, and deconstructed electronic sounds - club edits, drill remixes, and ethereal hyperpop. All digital artists are invited to join with their work that will illuminate the walls of the space, as long as they bring their own beamer.

As part of the Dutch Jazz Heritage series in the Concertgebouw, the in-house Dutch orchestra is showcasing significant jazz moments and figures throughout the years. This edition is focusing on Art Blakey - an influential American jazz Drummer. The evening will be elevated by the sound of a jazz pianist Rein de Graaff and the drums of Alexia Harpa, a jazz prodigy in the making.
