About Popup Choir
What began in 2017 as a small group of people in Amsterdam singing songs together in an accessible way has grown into the most famous drop-in choir in the Netherlands. Tens of thousands of people have already sung along, from Carré to Paradiso and Lowlands. They have also performed several (sold-out) evenings in the Main Hall of the Concertgebouw.
The recipe: Tijmen de Koning (guitarist) and Maarten Bos (conductor) write a polyphonic version of a fantastic pop song. They rehearse it with everyone present. Three-part harmony.
Everyone can join. No experience is necessary. So whether you sing alone in the shower, with your friends at the pub, or never at all, with Popup Choir, you'll sing along.
Queen
No one can ignore it, or has ever been able to ignore it: Queen! A favorite with young and old alike. You'll sing along to some of the biggest hits, and there's a song in the spotlight that you'll learn to sing in harmony. This song will be announced soon.
How does it work?
