Unique workshop with wonderful instruments

Tucked away in a hidden corner of the Muziekgebouw is SoundLAB. A laboratory with over 100 interactive electronic and acoustic instruments, it allows you to play and experiment with sound art, musical improvisation, electronic music, and composition.

Specially designed

The installations were designed and built specifically for SoundLAB by sound artists like Yuri Landman and Akim Moiseenkov. Create your own soundscape with motion sensors or magnetic fields, or discover one of our unique synthesizers, all presented in a unique way. Every month, there's a workshop where you can explore a world of sound together.
