The Museum of the Canals is a gorgeous experience on a normal day, but this mirrored floor pop-up makes it dazzle even more so. The floor of the Andriessen Room, located on the bel-etage of the 17th-century canal house, has been (temporarily) covered with mirrors. Paired with elaborately decorated walls and an intricate ceiling, a little time here feels as if you’re standing inside a visual illusion. Once you’re done taking in the view, have a stroll of the canal garden before a coffee nearby at the equally stunning Bar Vasari.
Mirrored Floor Installation | until 1 March | Grachtenmuseum

One mother tries her best to protect her four children from the traps of this new reality, plagued by unforeseen powers she cannot resist. How far is she willing to go to protect her family?

This Taiwanese café takes its name from the words Kiki, meaning ‘chatting’ and Boba, which refers to the round, bubbly tapioca that has made bubble tea famous. But Kikiboba is much more than just bubble tea, in fact, this De Pijp spot looks to introduce other sweet treats, like wheel cakes. It’s also a modern, contemporary space that promotes local artists and works from Taiwan, making this the place to while away an hour or two.
Kikiboba | open all week 10:00-18:00, Mon 11:00-18:00 | price range €-€€ | Van Woustraat 21A
